New Club Challenge/League

Thanks to John and Nevs hard work we now have an excellent 20 target course set up in the woods which will be part of a monthly league shoot.

The rules are shoot as and when you can on the course, with a fellow archer (as a witness), then post your score into box in the club hut, this will then be adjusted on the score board. You can shoot any style you wish, one or more.

There are two separate groups any questions ask John or Nev ;

1)         ALL COMPOUNDS, FREESTYLE, CROSSBOWS.

2)         ALL WOODEN ARROWS, BAREBOW.

 

Shooting

You shoot two arrows at each target.

Group 1 - one arrow from green peg, one from pink peg.

Group 2 - one arrow from pink peg and one from grey peg.

 

BOTH ARROWS SCORE.

 

Targets

Targets are profiles with inner kill cut outs.

Scoring

Inner kill 24 points  (first arrow only).

Kill 20 points

Wound 10 points

 

The targets are marked by red numbers on canes. Follow the red and white tapes to the next target.

The course will change hopefully monthly, by changing the position of the pegs or changing the profiles. The league will run for a trial period of a year and reviewed at next A.G.M. Obviously the course will be closed at open shoots.

The idea is for archers to improve their shooting and is for FUN you can shoot it as many times as you wish in the month.
